This blog was created by ASATH (Anthropologists in Solidarity Against Tuition Hikes) to promote positive actions and disseminate information about meetings, talks and marches. The idea is to show how the involvement of students in the protest movement can carry positive impacts on individuals in particular and society in general.

The FEUQ (Fédération Étudiante Universitaire du Québec) and the FECQ (Fédération Étudiante Collégiale du Québec) have rejected today the invitation to discuss with Line Beauchamp, Minister of Education, unless "everything is on the table" [including the tuition hikes as well as the financing plans for universities].
